Style Survey

Hello Everyone! I thought it might be fun to post a style survey on here so I can share my answers. I would love for you to share your answers as well.

I skimp when buying:
Lots of things. I ALWAYS check the clearance section where ever I go. If I can get it cheaper, I do. I try not to pay full price.
I splurge when buying:
This is a hard question to answer as I am a bargain hunter. I will scour the internet and shops to find the best price for me.
I always break this fashion rule:
Heavy eyeliner and dark lips. I am pale and like to rim my eyes with BLACK eyeliner. I love to use a darker color on my lip to give me that "Snow White" look.
I never break this fashion rule:
I like to do whatever I want. I make my own trends.

Skincare is KEY. I use Clean and Clear moisterizer EVERYDAY! Perfume is usually SJP, Mary Kay's Sparkling Pomegranite or Honeysuckle, or Valentino's Rock and Rose

Sooo Sorry!

Hello Everyone!!

First of all.....I feel horrible because I have been neglecting my poor little blog. I really need to be better about this, don't I?

Second of all....its been EXTREMELY hot here in the Mitten. The heat has been zapping all the energy I have for the most part. I feel like I have so much to do but have no motivation to do any of it.
I hope all of you have been keeping cool and safe in this extreme heat wave! I feel like when I apply my make-up, it is going to melt right off!

Ten Things I Love Thursday!!!

Ok, so its a little late, but here are the things I am LOVING this week!

1. Wendy's Caramel Frosty Shakes!!! Soooo good! I am officially addicted!

2. Nicola Formichetti's blog:  I love his blog! He is the stylist/designer for Mugler, who just so happens to be good friends with Miss Lady Gaga! I wish I could work with him......Sigh! http://nicolaformichetti.blogspot.com/

3. Rainy days: I know....call me weird, but I love rainy days. In the words of Miss Shirley Manson, "I'm only happy when it rains"!

4. NY Ink: I normally do not like reality tv, but I have made an exception. Plus, it IS about a Tattoo Parlor

10.  The Dollar Section at Target:  I have bought numerous GREAT items from the dollar section. They always have cutesy things and Hello Kitty notepads, pencils, stampers, and more. Gotta love that!

Shorter Bangs??

Soooo, I have been trying to grow out my bangs, but then in a fit of frustration, I trimmed them up. I can't decide if I like them or not.

10 Things I love Thursday!!!

I have neglected my little blog. Things have been busy lately, but that is still no excuse. I am sorry!

Anywhoozles, it is without further adieu that I present the 10 Things I Love Thursday:

1. Cherry Coke: Mmmmmm, cherry coke is soooo good. Especially REALLY COLD cherry coke.

2. Vintage Fabrics: My Grandma just gave me a large bag full of old vintage fabrics. I cannot wait to make     some cute skirts and maybe a tote bag.

3. One Pretty Thing website:  It is amazing. It compiles all the best craft, sewing, and food projects all in one.

4.  Home projects: Redecorating and reorganizing our little home. I plan to work on more of it this weekend.

5. Making Jewelry: I have been making jewelry lately. I have recently given some people at work some of my handi-work. It makes me feel awesome when I see them wearing it.

6. Seeing my husband smile: He has been a little down due to not working, but he is getting better. He just started school and things are looking up!

7. Thrifting:  Recently, I picked up some really great skirts for the summer at some of our local thrift stores.

8.  Fashion Blogs: I have stumbled upon so many great ones lately. They are giving me so many ideas and inspiration!

9. The "Messing with Sasquatch" commercials: They are too funny. My hubby and I laugh hysterically at them when they come on. So good!

10. Investigation Discovery channel: I just can't help it. I watch it all the time. I LOVE watching the crime stories and seeing if I can figure things out for myself.

Sundress FUNdress!

The weather has been seriously warm! Thankfully, my workplace has established its"Summer Attire" dress code, which means, sundresses, sandals, and other warm weather apparel. Today, I have broken out my "Rollerskate" dress, which is a fun print featuring rollerskates and wheels!

The dress has spaghetti straps, so I wore a cream lightweight cardigan and bright pink beads.
I also got to wear these:

My glittery pink Hello Kitty flats. Yes, they are from the Girls section, but hey.....they FIT!

TEN Things I Love Thursday!!

Hello everyone!!!

It is officially thursday......which means that we are THAT much closer to the weekend. Despite the fact that its gloomy and rainy.....and will be for most of the weekend, that means I will get to do a lot of indoor activities a.k.a. CLEANING and DECORATING!
Anyways......on to the TTILT:

1. Rainy Days: I know rainy days can be spirit dampening....but I find them enjoyable. I like to snuggle on the couch with my kitties or my hubby and watch scary movies.

2. Biggby's Super Frozen Mocha Mocha's! They are soooooo good!

3. Hair flowers and fancy headbands: I have quite the collection. I love wearing anything with sparkles, feathers, or bows!

4.  Mark Ryden artwork: I love his work. I love the abstract and bizarre themes he uses as well as the cutesy imagery.

5. Good Friends: I have been blessed with many good friends and I am honored to have them in my life

6. My workspace: I feel like I practically live at work, so I decorated my workspace to make me feel at home. Its a mix of pinks, purples and other bright colors. Hello Kitty adorns my work area as well as pretty candleholders, pencil cups and more.

7. Black Gel Ink pens: Call me crazy, but I ONLY like to use Black Gel Ink pens when writing or signing my name. I always have at least ONE with me. Usually, there are at least 5 swimming around in my purse.

8. Andy Samberg and Justin Timberlake's SNL Digital Shorts: The newest one had me laughing in hysterics. AND the fact that Lady Gaga was in it was the sprinkles AND the icing on the cake! Pure AWESOME SAUCE!

9. (since I just mentioned her) Lady Gaga: I love her! Her new album is excellent. I love what she stands for and that she doesnt care what anyone else thinks. She is intellegent, creative, and she cares about her fans. I am proud to call myself a "Little Monster"!

They are two of my most FAVORITE people in the whole world.
